Yet another job update (POSITIVE)

A few weeks ago, one of my professors sent out an announcement that our university has positions open for an internship that's relevant to my major. I sent in an email application and was interviewed a few days later. 30 minutes after the interview, I was accepted!

It will start next semester, and I will be paid $19/hr! This will be about $2 more than my previous job (if you can even call it that) lol.

What's even better is that after my interview, my invitation said that they need more people to apply in order to meet the number of students they want for the internship team. Luckily, one of my friends was looking for a new job so I told her to apply and she got accepted too!

I'm so glad I took the risk and applied. I was unsure if I should, since I was under the impression that many people would also be applying, but I guess I wrong. This is your reminder to both believe in and take a chance on yourself!
