Got a job lol
Two days after my last blog post the store I interviewed at called me to confirm that they're hiring me for a seasonal position. So far my shifts have been fine. The first was signing some documents, inputting bank info and training. My second shift consisted of finishing online training and replenishing some displays. A few customers asked me questions and I felt bad that I couldn't answer them all that well.
I already have to update my availability. I wake up so early for school and I forgot to mention that on weekdays I have should get home by 8:30 pm if I want somewhat decent sleep. My last shift ended at 9 pm and I got home at 9:40 (construction work). I still had to shower. Plus, one of my shifts in about 2 weeks will have me working until 2 am on a Monday. I wake up at 4 am for school. I hope she will understand, especially since I'm only seasonal. If not, I honestly have no problem with quitting. I'm not willing to sacrifice my health or academics even for a job.
